KeySafe - History Conversion

Converting your credit union’s member history data to a Microsoft® SQL server during or after a Symitar conversion provides added efficiencies with a single access point and saved disk space. This is the philosophy that stemmed the creation of eCU Technologies member history conversion services, KeySafe, for credit unions converting to or already running Symitar’s popular Episys™ system. Utilizing this innovative service is a prime opportunity for your credit union to experience an even smoother conversion process.

Free-up Precious Disk Space

eCU Technologies history conversion service allows its consultants to transfer your credit union member history records from its host system to a Microsoft® SQL server database. As a result, your credit union (that is converting to Symitar) no longer has to maintain two independent systems — one with new member data and another with old member data (history), which was required for up to a year. Additionally, if your credit union is already running on Symitar, you can leverage this service to transfer the member history data from the IBM@ RISC™ server (host system) to a SQL server, freeing up precious disk space for other data.

Features
  • Eliminates or reduces the need to run multiple systems
  • Saves your credit union costs in added efficiencies
  • Provides a single access point to your credit union’s core processor, instead of having to go back and forth between old and new processors
  • Frees up precious disk space on your host’s core processing system
  • Ensures your credit union’s conversion is smoother and gives your members oneless thing to worry about before, during, and after the conversion
Added Efficiencies

Using eCU KeySafe eliminates or reduces the need to run multiple systems during and after a conversion, which can save your credit union a lot of money in added efficiencies.

One of the added efficiencies is providing a credit union with a single access point to its core processor, instead of having to go back and forth between old and new processors. A single access point is built by an eCU Technologies’ PowerOn™ module, which can be programmed to search both processors until all the history has been converted to the new SQL server. In addition, having the history on the new SQL server frees up precious disk space on the host’s core processing system.

Keeping two systems running for up to a year costs your credit union money—not to mention being inefficient. eCU Technologies’ history conversion service can eliminate any confusion and time using a single access point [instead of two] for history on a credit union’s core processor.
